amending the constitution to ban gay marriages.......
cmon,you gotta be kidding me,that would ,in effect ,nullify that document on which our country is founded.
correct me if im wrong, but isnt the entire idea FREEDOM?
isnt that what America is about?
how can we say were a free nation when such an absurd idea can possibly become law?
last i checked,gay people are citizens too,how can we deny them the basic RIGHT to have a monogamous commitment?
since when did we allow the federal government to dictate our own sexuality?
my suggestion to all gay Americans; sue the hell out of ANY government the is denying you your BASIC RIGHTS.
